A Useful-Thing...selected by Dennis Cummins.

This week's Useful-Thing is a game!

CyberMind v1.0.1

>From the website - "A master-mind clone, that will make you stare at it
for minutes! The best looking program in the world, no kidding. Take a
look at this! Different game levels, mathematical methods to compute
combinations left, HINT if you can't think of something, High-Scores,
Timer, and one of the coolest user interfaces you've EVER SEEN.
Designed in Adobe Photoshop, using built-in, Alien Skin and Kai Power
Tools filters."

Dennis reports the game is highly addictive: "A fun game. I do not
play games much but this one was fun. Not easy, but fun. <g> Give it
a try...er...that is if you have lots of time. You might not want to
stop. The help file is very good, so you should have no problem
learning this game."

Okay here are the particulars:

Author or company: CyLog Software

URL of the CyberMind page:
http://www.cylog.org/games_1.asp

URL of the file to download:
http://www.cylog.org/files/cmind10.zip

1.57 MB download.

Requirements to install and run the program:

CyberMind needs a 65,536 colors or True-color setup in order to work
properly. In 8-bit (256 colors) or 4-bit (16 colors) the images look very
bad, we don't recommend even trying to run it. This program is a 32-bit
application that requires Windows 95/98/Me or Windows NT.

Dennis offers further instructions:

"Installing, just make a directory on your hard disk and copy the
CYBERMIND.EXE, CYBERMIND.HLP and CYBERMIND.CNT files into it. Then
just make a shortcut to Cybermind.exe wherever you like.

Uninstalling, just delete the directory you created for Cybermind. If
you like you can also delete this tree in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CyLog\CyberMind "

Enjoy! :-)
