A Useful-Thing...selected by Dennis Cummins. This week's Useful-Thing is a drawing or paint program for children and the child in us all. :-) Drawing for Children ==================== "Drawing for Children is a free drawing program for children with many nice options. The best way to learn to use it is simply to use it. There is though a document describing the use of the program." ...quoted from the website. Dennis comments: "This is a very fun program. Children will love it. I think adults will love it. I know I do. This is a keeper for me. It does some things I would like some of the other graphics programs I use do not. Just try it out. I think you will see how much fun it is too.<g>" Okay here are your particulars: Author: Mark Overmars URL of the Drawing for Children site: http://www.cs.uu.nl/people/markov/kids/draw/ URL of the file to download: http://www.cs.uu.nl/people/markov/kids/draw/draw4ch2.exe Requirements to install and run the program: Drawing for Children requires a modern PC running Windows 95, 98 or NT 4 or later. The program requires a screen resolution of at least 800x600. It best runs with 65000 (16-bit) color or more, although most of the functionality is still available with 256 colors. (In particular some stamps and backgrounds look rather ugly with 256 colors.) Documentation can be found here for this program: http://www.cs.uu.nl/people/markov/kids/draw/doc.htm Enjoy! :-) Alan S.
