Absolutely. The doc on each Geronimo deployment plan should include information about where it can be packaged in an archive. The 2.2 doc looks to be a bit clearer in this regard. See http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/GMOxDOC22/geronimo-application.xml for example.
