Add the realm module as a dependency in your geronimo-application.xml like:
...
<dependencies>
<dependency>
<groupId>console.realm</groupId>
<artifactId>derby_security_realm</artifactId>
<version>1.0</version>
<type>car</type>
</dependency>
...
</dependencies>
...
