If your going to use data-binding with a light-weight ORM like Ibatis, your custom objects should implement the following two interfaces: INotifyPropertyChanged IDataErrorInfo
There's tons of information out there about proper handling of them. For the collections, looking into IBindingList for proper handling of the collection.
