Thank you Jeff, I really appreciate your help.

This is actually my first project in iBatis. Yesterday I messed up completely by not understanding the difference b/w iBatis SQLMaps and iBatis DAO Framework. Today I went back to the Manuals and that helped to clarify the seperation. I am now trying to work with the DAO Framework seperately (this should help me understand) and see how I can work with different [daoConfig] contexts.
