I'm assuming you are familiar with iBATIS 1.0 since you have been using it for some time. The best thing I think you could do is to read the iBATIS 2 Developer docs ( http://ibatis.apache.org/docs/java/pdf/iBATIS-SqlMaps-2_en.pdf). That should give you all that you need.
