Richard, I took a quick look at your example code. I also took a look at the source and I think I see your issue.
You are trying to use a java only Mapper class. This works but right now the MapperRegistry getMapper method only looks though a collection of mappers. So for now you will need to register it with the MapperRegistry. Let me talk with the team about having the getMapper method also try to add it for you if it can't find it. Sounds like a reasonable request.
