Hi Igor,

Screen AND video???

Dunno if you really need fast realtime feedback.
(which is not fully implemented in RS like DX shaders etc....)

Spend your money to RAM and HT-processors in my opinion.
And use onclick raytraycing/postprocess of a renderbox.
RS lives in imagination and VSL.

And: What is not to much money???
Which Operating System???
What kind of bus-sytem???
Many questions????

Best and fast solution (in my opinion):
------Backup your system!!!!
!!!! Contact all your computer-game-freak friends.
Get graphic-cards from them.
Load latest drivers.
Check all important apps.
and again.......
-------Use the system-backup-----!!!!
next graphic-card

next graphic-card

Mark best graphic-card.

Buy card which fullfills your needs.

(BTW: Buy some good "Budweiser" for all of your friends)

Subject: Which video card and screen?

Hello,

Along with upgrading from Real3D te Realsoft3D, I'm planning to buy a new
screen and videocard. Does any of you have tips?

About the screen:
I was thinking of a 21" CRT screen (because I don't like the constrained
view angle of TFT sceens and beacause of their price). Oh, and I don't want
to see them thin Trinitron wires. Tips?

About the video card:
I understood that RS3D uses the video card to generate solid previews of the
scene, and so it is important to have a card that is not too slow. Any
recommendations? I'll use the software only for stills, and I do not want to
spent too much money.

Thank you.
