Hi Frank,

x64 allows for >2gig ram, which helps on big gi renders.
If you happen to have 2x dual core, you can use all 4 processors on
rendering.

Big files seem to load faster, and 64 bit chips seem more responsive
with x64 (for me,anyway).
I would definitely do it for the future, if not for the present.
