Hi guys,

(did the mail make it to the list? Otherwise I am going to send the mail
without attachment/testscene)

how are you? I wasn't able to do anything in RS3D für several months now
because I've got a new job and had lots of work to do (especially work of the
one, who had the job before me!).

But now I have time again to get back to hobbies and sports etc. :)

I have the following question concerning RS3D and instances in general.
In the testscene attached, were used lots of instances and only two or three
real SDS objects with a really simple shape and geometry.

Now to my question:
Why is it so hard and sloooooooooow to work with this scene? Try it out...it is
really slow to work with it!
Is there some kind of trick or workaround to work with such a simple scene fast?

In my opinion it is not a big scene, so why is it that slow using move, rotate
and scale tool etc.?

Will this problem be fixed in v6? --> Juha, Vesa?

I have the following software and computer specs:

RS3D v5.1 SP2

Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 1

CPU: Mobile Pentium 4 at 2 GHz
ram: 512 mb
gfx-card: mobility radeon 9000 with 64 mb

Well, anyways...I wish you all merry Christmas and some relaxing holidays ;)

see ya and thanx for answers, bobbi
