Hello Aidan,

Allthough I have not experienced the exact same problems with (various) ATI
cards the blank viewwindow does ring a bell. 
At opening a project file RS3D locks up and the viewwindow remains blank. My
workaround has been to start RS3D and than load all parts of the file except
the windows (file/load/selected sections).
