That's a cool utility Arjo.

I had one further idea of refinement on this.
It's possible that the resultant image size and aspect may have to be 
considered.
I assume that the ccd is slightly larger than the resultant image. We probably 
want an aspect that is the same as the resultant image, but offset slightly 
inside the ccd dimension. I haven't tested this yet.
