Greetings, the elYsiun staff I know you mentioned not outsourcing, but FWIW I thought I'd mention the guys at Disc Makers do short-run DVD-Rs that could fit your bill-- you might be able to get 4 of their short runs done (100 each) for the price of a DVD printer, not to mention costs of your own discs, consumables, and time. I don't work for them, but we did use them for a 1,000 run dup recently and were extremely satisfied-- it's basically headache free, because they give you all the templates, walk you through the process, and you can even monitor the project status on-line. Depending on your printing requirements, you have the option of inkjet in color or monochrome or thermal. The larger houses who do replication work use a silk screen process which isn't affordable on our end just yet. You can look at that Casio printer Richard Lin has discussed today or inkjet printers from manufactures like Primera. I have the Primera Signature Pro and love it. Basically, the more colors and graphics you want to use and the faster you want the discs printed the more money you will need to spend. Regarding printing out 50 DVD's at a crack, if you want to save time you will have to spend money. Like buying more burners. You can daisy chain a bunch using firewire or SCSI. I have two drives connected to firewire and five drives connected using IDE to SCSI bridges. Then there are those setups that you can buy that cost even more where they burn and print your discs unattended. Hope this helps some...
