Dear Frank, you have crashed the gui of realsoft, I am sure, as I have had the same problem some month ago. Please ask to Matthias Kappenberg (and other ones;-), he can tell you more about the registry entries of realsoft, you have to change it and make new entries. - I can imagine, you are working with other 3d applications too, my problem was Lightwave 8.3 on the same machine. I have imported an x.obj file from LW to realsoft, after that, I hade these complications. It's a horrible looking working with no handles, isn't it? :-) You are feeling "naked". - I think it's a further problem with the familiar java script language of 3d apps, I have heard, that some 3d apps don't like each other. - Wish you that anybody can help. best regards, frank brübach (out of realsoft order for some month), I am lucky that the scripts are running well...

I'm on a tight schedule to get two job's done in time and all of a sudden all object handles are gone. I've tried every setting I can think of in the preferences window, I've even reinstalled RS3D, no difference, no object handles. Not only are the handles gone, the viewwindow has turned to a sort of grey where it used to be realsoft blue-ish. I'm using Realsoft 5.1/SP3/05.01.90 on a Windows XP 64 machine with dual monitor setup. This setup has worked well for weeks. Can anyone help me out? Please?
