OK, I ran Cinebench... didn't expect my current 'workstation' to be THAT
pathetic - 15 months old (but admittedly too cheap, a bad buy).
I'm glad OSX is now an option for RS users, maybe my next one will be a Mac.

Yes , my dual Xeon is over 4 times slower than a dual Quad-core
, which is about right , I guess . I used to always upgrade when
I could double my rendering power , but I am sadly behind the
curve these days .
Macs are awesome . Linux and a Quad-Quad Mac ?
