It's not a full HD (1920x1080i) projektor, 1080i is downscaled

 It's only $799 USD ! ($200 mail-in rebate until sept30)

If you're interested in lowprice Beamer have a look at this one, too...
ok, it's not under 1000$

Yep , looks OK , but Optoma has another model with more features
for more of your money too . HD70 shows 480i at a smaller screen
dimension too , to ease the pain of stretching a bad format .

If you come to Germany:
http://www.homecinema-highfidelity.de
there you can see some good beamers, too.

Yes , we have some good Hi-Fi shops here in Canada too , but
right now it is tough to step into the very turbulent water .

Better to wait a little while for high-end , but buy cheap
and very good low-end (HD70) in the meantime , I think .

Very good 720P for $799 . What more can I possibly say ?

Man :

http://tinyurl.com/lt3aw (Optoma USA - the HD70 projector)

This looks awesome and everything I have read about it is
amazing so far . Go to www.Circuitcity.com and read the user
reviews , just for starters .

Right now there's a $200 mail-in rebate offer too . Wow !!

Supports HDMI/S-Video/Component/Composite/VGA/RS 232
720P/1080i/P 480/576 NTSC/PAL/Secam

Well , OK , so now we start to render to this format (720P)
so that we can view our disease on a 10 foot/3.3 meter
screen .

  Yep , dual-quad cores ...

Will V6 help out with HD rendering hurdles ? (hope so)

cheers !
