Hi, and Merry Christmas to all. Today I was trying to make Realsoft Image contest entry with the new V6. As I read earlier from the list I noticed that noise object is a float now.
In my scene I used brushsteel material and added noise into the Surface Properties. After this my rendering server which is installed into my second Core 2 machine RSV6 server just chrashed. Client side informed that I did not have enough memory. Could this be linked to the new VSL noise object? My server contains 2gigs memory and my client (workmachine) contains 3gigs of memory. I sent the problematic scene
to Realsoft today. The new selection tools is really good addition :) Ville
