Hi Neil ,
Could be but working with the OS XP 32 bit did not work that way ,
no trace here of precedent project and no second image behind
the view screen , besides from the 3 OS , RS-6 on XP 32 works best.
By the way on Win Vista 32 ,Open GL shaded or Windows GDI
did not work thus no image rendered.

I have a question to the list:

I sent this message just before with a
screenshot as example but it did not passed...why ??

  Hi Andre,

I think this is a new feature. I find it useful if I need to compare the
previous raytrace with a new one. I also like the way the last raytrace can
become the viewport image at other times ... these have never conflicted with
anything I have needed to do.

With RS-6 64 bit on win XP 32/64 bit ,
    4 GB (now) , pentium 4:
When i render >> raytrace a second copy of the image
persiste behind the view window ,
minimizing the screen sweeps the image.
    ***********************************************
After closing a project and start a new >> render and raytrace
the new project shows the precedent image on screen. Seems that the memory
was not clean up from the precedent project.
