Would you bake a cake and serve it without putting the frosting on it ? Would you rebuild the engine in your car and run it without putting oil in the crankcase ? Would you go to all the messy trouble of foreplay and then just roll over and go to sleep ?
If not , then read on : > The nurbshelper script runs with RS V6, > but with the new update (6.1.4) Ah , information ! Thank you thank you thank you ! (see how easy that was?) > garry I have updated correctly the name of the script I thank you , the community thanks you , those who will use the script 2 years from now ... thank you . > feel free to ask me or make critic OK , so this is the part where I must remind that what you post here , about your script , is mostly a waste of time . The info here dies , but your script lives on ! Again , ... it's all about the quality of the information you provide . If you think that there is important info that needs to be relayed here , then put that information in your .zip file , too . (are you getting it , yet ?) Seriously . I've said it a hundred times . The list is a vortex where important information surfaces , then very quickly disappears into the void . Best way to prevent that ? Build a web page and put that info on it . Place the info in the forum is better than nothing , too . Or ask Robert D if you can build a page & place the script on his site , or Zaug . (RS info site?) The main point here , scripts should have , at the very least , a readme.txt file included . You have HTML docs , so then just update them a little , with a few words and suggestions for each version . Your HTML Docs lack the always important installation information . You insist on having that .jpeg image in your script , so now you _Must_ include the exact way to install this script so that a user does not hit that so familiar wall , when trying to run your script . The Doc also lacks the images for that page . Include them , along with the installation info . Simple . You've done 95% of the work already , but the 5% that is missing is just as important as the other 95% . If someone comes along to the forum and D/L's the file you have there , they're screwed . You have an unread- able jpeg there , and no info in your doc's about the proper installation . Drop the jpeg ! Doc it instead! Go to the forum , fix your posts , fix your docs , fix the zip file , _Then_ resend it here too . Yes , it takes a little time , but then you can finally rest ... knowing you have done your best . (Poetry ? I'll try anything at this point) As it is right now , you have just unleashed another RS hazard onto the world . Another blood sucker . Yet another energy vampire designed (unconsciously) to rid a user of his desire to create cool stuff with RS . If the real truth be known , I have spent far more time just trying to get you to see the light , than you will ever need to spend to simply fix your zip file ! OK Larry ? cheers Moe > I agree Z, > Now I know why I also do not bother with TV. > Garry the provocateur rides again. > Happy New Year > Neil Cooke Ya , OK , fine : Sure , it's all fun & games (until someone looses an eye) . http://members.ams.chello.nl/rbroeder/tutorials/humaneye/eyes.html http://tinyurl.com/37meyk garry > > Everyone!! > > Please, carry on.... > > This is the most ridiculous theatre, after TV(and I have no TV), that I > > have enjoyed in some time :D > > Zaug _______________________________________________________________________ Jetzt neu!
