Hello Frank.
I do not understand a meaning of "interact".
Do you want to change attributes of the objects?
Which attribute do you want to change?
For example, do you want to change the color of the object?
Best regards,
K-UDA

Hi Matthias, thank you for little help :-) But I am looking for a script advice to interact between a script and a scene in a directly way... I will search in one of these strange understanding "c++ book" ;-) I will look as soon as I can for constraints examples... may be it's useful I am sure. - Same to question 2... it's not so easy here in the forum, where one thousand people are missing using the script language of realsoft;-D

The tool is really great and powerful, but there's missing a lot of user and more progressive advertising to get this new 3d user... I am thinking realsoft needs more user to get forward with the animation part and the scripting / plugin part... nevertheless I don't give up and learning more with realsoft step by step... best regards, Frank

To QT 1: Constraints :-? (Have a look in the samples->constraint)
Or the hard way: Set a 0 frame play range and loop on, then press play.
Hard way needs a "load javascript", while scripting in external app ;-)

To QT 2: No idea :-?

Matthias

Subject: two script questions :-)

Dear RS friends:-), I have a question according the java script codes... - It's possible to "interact" between a script and a
scene in a directly way? I mean: if I have a cube and a sphere or a lightsource and would like to change the attributes of the
objects so I can see it in a promptly way?

Sorry.. ;-) next question: It's possible to say in a script something like that: find object "cube" and make anything with it I
like... "Hey, looking for a cube or a sphere or a nurbs"... I don't find anything in the scripting folder...

have a nice weekend from sun shining germany:-) kind regards, Frank
