Version 6 for Linux

Realsoft 3D v.6 SP1 for Linux is now available at the web shop of 
www.realsoft.com. It runs on most modern Linux distributions, such as
RedHat, Fedora, Ubuntu, Debian, Slackware, Mandrake and SUSE. Currently  RedHat 
9 (glibc-2.3) is the oldest supported distro.

Both RPM and Debian packages are supported, as well as a .sh shell script based 
setup package, which should work on any Linux system.

Native versions for both Intel's x86 and Athlon's x86_64 architectures are 
available.

Realsoft 3D v6 for Linux costs 200 Euros. An upgrade from an older Realsoft 3D 
version costs 100 Euros.




Chrono for Linux
Chrono, the advanced multibody simulation plugin for Realsoft 3D, is now 
available for the Linux platforms. Chrono can be used for multibody analysis, 
complex collision simulations, real-time animation of vehicles and other 
simulation tasks of complex mechanisms. For more information, check out the

The plugin is available at the web shop of www.realsoft.com. A Chrono::Studio 
license cost 150 Euros. 

Chrono for Linux requires Realsoft 3D v.6. Both 32 bit and native 64 bit 
platforms are supported.
