I was looking into the best way to integrate Spring with Magnolia. I have two requirements. The first is to utilize Spring Security (formerly ACEGI) to manage authentication and authorization for the public access (user registration and authentication). The second is to utilize the Spring MVC framework to provide a highly transaction workflow within the context of the CMS. The application we are building needs a strong CM component but is highly transaction.
As far as the Spring Security requirement; I looked into the Public User Registration module and it does not look like it is still supported by the community AND it does not work with the latest version of Magnolia. I could use something like PUR for this but am concerned about issues with the fact that there is no ongoign development with it. I reviewed the Spring integration information for Magnolia and the method for integration and the functionality are not well documented. In addition, I am not sure which version of Spring is supported. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Spring-Integration-tp20129648p20129648.html Sent from the Magnolia - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ---------------------------------------------------------------- for list details see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/home/community/mailing-lists.html ----------------------------------------------------------------
