Hi Kris
We use the following setup:
1. Add a templates and docroot directory for each domain in each
instance:
magnoliaAuthor/templates/aaa.com
magnoliaAuthor/templates/bbb.com
magnoliaAuthor/docroot/aaa.com
magnoliaAuthor/docroot/bbb.com
magnoliaPublic/templates/aaa.com
magnoliaPublic/templates/bbb.com
magnoliaPublic/docroot/aaa.com
magnoliaPublic/docroot/bbb.com
2. Add a folder for each domain for configuration, website, etc. in
AdminCentral, for example:
Configuration:modules/templating/templates/aaa/...
Configuration:modules/templating/templates/bbb/...
and for example:
Website:aaa/home.html
Website:bbb/home.html
The only place where it doesn't work as far as I know is that you
can't customize the DMS-dialogs for each domain.
3. Set up one shared jkMount for the instance and add separate
redirects in the Apache configuration file for each virtual domain,
for example:
Redirect /index.html http://www.aaa.com/magnoliaPublic/aaa/
home.html
4. Set the user permissions for each domain so they can only see
their folder in Website and DMS and only their page and paragraph
templates.
Did I forget something?
Hope this helps,
Anne
