I am trying to run the Author and Public Instances of magnolia 3.6.3 on two different port numbers on a windows based system. The steps I am following are as follows:
1. Install magnolia 3.6.3 (CE) 2. Change the port number from 8080 to 8090 in the server.xml file 3. Remove the magnoliaPublic instance from the webapps folder of tomcat of magnolia 4. Install another instance of Tomcat (version 5.5.27) 5. Deploying the magnoliaPublic.war file inside the webapps folder of this second tomcat 6. Change the port number from 8080 to 8100 in the server.xml file 7. Starting magnolia 3.6.3 8. Creating a new page 9. Activating this page When I am trying to activate this page, magnolia is throwing an error, which is as follows: Can't activate: 1 error detected Simple exchange transport failed: Connection refused: connect: Connection refused: connect on magnoliaPublic8080: Connection refused: connect Please help.
