The problem you run into with your approach is that you do not access
Magnolia via the Magnolia filter chain. So is no automatic Magnolia
specific initialization.
Either you access Magnolia via the filter chain (means using http) or
you have to implement the logic of the filter chain in you calls.
Have a look at the configured filters in config:/server/filters
