so you are using the publish instance as an author instance - means u just activate back to the author? I once thought about that and didnt know whether it would work...

I have content from the dms and from the data repository to automatically activate back from public to author instance. I start activation in a postSave from a data dialog and only content editing and adding is activated. I don't use deletion of content, but I think this will work as well. What I found out is, that mgnlOpenWindow doesn't work when you make a author instance to a public instance via the isAdmin property. It produces a javascript error because the method is not available. This is why I was not able to test if activation only works in admin mode.
