Hi List.

I'm migrating my web site that runs on magnolia-3.0.2 to the latests version, magnolia-3.6.3.

Reading the 3.6 release notes, I realized that there are some changes in the node type definitions, and that I need to run the "update35to36" script (only available for the Enterprise Edition).
But I have Community Edition, so this tool is not available to me.

Anyway, I followed the steps from the release notes http://documentation.magnolia.info/releases/3-6.html, and did everything as described there, except for the "update35to36" step.

At the end the migration process finished, and the web site is running on 3.6.3 without any 'visible' problems.

So, my question is, are there any drawbacks of not doing the "update35to36" step.

Thanks and kind regards,
Bobi.
