I created a simple authentication class for LDAP, but it doesn't do any authorization, that still has to be managed in Magnolia with the code I wrote. I haven't tried it with the 3.6.x versions of Magnolia but it works with the 3.5.x versions.
http://wiki.magnolia-cms.com/display/WIKI/Ldap+authentication There was a bug in the class that I fixed awhile back, had to do with not working when activation was done through workflow, but I just updated the source file on the page with the fix and the instructions are still the same.
