Integrate a web framework like Wicket, Tapestry or JSF and do it well. Meaning the callback/action phase is executed before the rendering of Magnolia so you can do redirects without the fear of the response being already committed. That's IMHO the biggest weakness of Magnolia, once you want interactive content, you're back to servlets. This is so important that making it commercial would be ok.
