Hi Andrew,

The area you need to look at for this is activation, and 'subscribers'
in particular: http://documentation.magnolia.info/administration/activation.html

If you look at the subscribers section in AdminCentral, it should be
fairly easy to setup the scenario you described using the example
entry as a base
