Tobias, The easiest way to do this is remove the workflow module before you run Magnolia for the first time. If the workflow module isn't present, activations will proceed immediately while the user waits for the results.
If you need the workflow module for other reasons, you'll have to customize the workflow definition to skip the Inbox step.
