We structure the data in folders to "group" them.
But you're right: Pagination and a filter would come in very handy. I
think something like this exists in Magnolia EE...

if you have 100.000 nodes of a type in the Data Module, how can this
be managed by a editor/user in a user-friendly way? I cannot imagine
how an editor can find certain data in such a large list without
paging, searching, filtering, and sorting of columns? Or do i miss
something here?
