We've got the same problem, tried troubleshooting with Fiddler, and got stymied in the same way. :-P
Since the only thing we're concerned about being encrypted is the user password, we're probably going to use CAS Single Sign-On to authenticate, and then go back to HTTP for magnoliaAuthor. That will solve this problem and another we have with IE being unwilling to download attachments correctly over HTTPS. We just tried it - and get the warning: "unsecured objects are being loaded... YES / NO" If i watch the requested files with Tamper - all requests are HTTPS. Hmmm. The warning does not occur in FF. Is this problem known / is there a workaround? thx & regards rainer -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Magnolia-Backend-via-HTTPS-in-IE-tp23138797p23138797.html Sent from the Magnolia - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/home/community/mailing-lists.html To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/home/community/mailing-lists.html To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ----------------------------------------------------------------
