Yes.
~2 seconds for each activation!! Huge time!! But maybe because time is
money, more time = more money ;-)
I've imported a
set of a couple thousand records previously exported from the data
repository. It took less than a minute. Trying to do this with
activation will take all night easily...
Yes, you are right. Even with our system we have huge amounts of data
(200.000 nodes between website / data WS).
But both ways pretty much the same thing has to be done, right?
Almost.
If you export a node "RED" (not activated) and you put on you public
machines, it still stays red on author instance. And I think you don't
keep versions.
Anyway, it is harrowing!
