The 1st Magnolia Conference will be September 10-11 in
Basel, Switzerland. This technical conference brings
together Magnolia users, developers and administrators in
one place. Through expert instruction, hands-on tutorials
and case studies, attendees will gain the knowledge they
need to rapidly build simple open source content management
solutions with Magnolia CMS.
Right before Magnolia Conference, there will be a private
event for Magnolia partners on Wednesday, September 9th.
This will include workshops during the day and dinner in the
evening.
European Directories is a new customer using Magnolia
Enterprise Edition. It connects buyers and sellers by
providing directory services through phone books
(white/yellow pages style), the internet, directory
assistance and mobile phones.
Two new companies have joined the worldwide Magnolia Partner
Network: Netcetera and Tinext.
Magnolia 4.1 is in the making and scheduled to be available
in a few weeks along with STK 1.1. New features include
amongst others architectural support for user-generated
content (UGC) and a pluggable Digital Asset Management (DAM)
architecture to select images and videos from various
backends like the DMS or Magnolia On Air's MediaFlow DAM
To further simplify access to Magnolia, we have initiated
the Magnolia Documentation Project. As an immediate result
of the project, search on documentation now includes all
relevant information.
At April 23rd, we celebrated follower number 1000 on Twitter
and new followers keep subscribing.
