I just tried it and the instance doesn't startup anymore:

ERROR AUTHOR
org.apache.jackrabbit.core.persistence.bundle.util.ConnectionRecoveryManager:
could not execute statement, reason: Table '<project>.VERSIO
N_NAMES' doesn't exist, state/code: 42S02/1146

followed by:

09-06-02 15:35:49 ERROR
AUTHOR[main]org.apache.jackrabbit.core.persistence.bundle.BundleDbPersistenceManager:
failed to write bundle: deadbeef-face-babe-cafe-babecafebabe
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Unable to read index for string:
versionStorage

Is it possible to simply switch from one PM to another (Simple to Bundle)?
As far as i know it should be ;)

thx & regards
rainer

PS: i just changed the classname to
"org.apache.jackrabbit.core.persistence.bundle.MySqlPersistenceManager" ...
this should be enough if the sample config is correct.
