I think you are right, because I've already see before that asking for a
resource with a wrong file extension will cause Magnolia serving the
"right" resource with a wrong mimetype.
The approach I use is good under data module, but within dms the real
document node is wrapped into a "parent" node which handles metadata
information, like type, title, language, and so on.
So, at this point I think that your approach is the quicker, but I
suggest to incapsulate the Java code inside a taglib.
PS: what about the uuidToLinkRepository property? I've never used it
before, it already contains dms logic?
