Are you sure you have removed the right paragraph? If you did you should not be getting the error. Pages on the author instance are not cached by Magnolia and should not be cached by your browser either. Anyway without seeing exactly what the error stacktrace says it is hard to help more. Try to post your stacktrace to pastebin.com or similar service and post here the url to it.
