Hello, Community! I am trying to use Magnolia, version: 4.1. I found one misunderstood by me feature: no matter what settings I do on a parent page for News, I always get "No News were found with the defined settings". How to tell the page to display all my News child nodes? I've saw http://www.magnolia-cms.com/home/products/screencasts.html and news management (the only doc available so far). Unfortunately, screencast is very differrent from my experience about parent page part...
That's how I tried to do that (that was intuitive to me): 1. Added a Page, chose template "Section", then in "New Teasers" I've added "Latest News Teaser" (A chronologically sorted list of latest news) — exactly what I need. 1a. Also tried other templates for the parent page, like "News Overview", "Event Overview" and bunch of other templates. 2. Added a child Page and chose template "News" and created my news entry. This worked fine — I could make my news entry with no problems. 3. Repeated #2 several times, to add few news. 4. Now went back to my "Latest News Teaser" and... got "No News were found with the defined settings"on a parent page. 5. On a parent page, played with any possible variations of "Edit News Overview Paragraph" button and there "Search Hierarchy" link path, including leaving it empty. It promises that will find automatically anyway... 6. Activated/deactivated/reactivated/recreated pages many times. 7.
