Hi there

I've got some global informative questions with regard to listings and their performance. For example the STKs article overview page retrieves all content based on the stkArticle template within the website tree and uses an in memory sorting and paging algorithm. In my experience this would become a performance bottleneck at some stage, but I've got no idea if this experience holds for a Magnolia/JCR set- up. Is this an issue in bulky or large traffic websites with frequent updates? Just for the information I was wondering what your experience with this solution is.

- To what extend will this perform with 100, 1000 or 10k articles?
- Should I fear any memory issues, especially when nodes contain images or binary data. - Is there some kind of caching involved here beyond the page caching level? Is this ever necessary? - Does Jackrabbit implement some kind of query caching one can tweak or tune?

Hopefully someone can supply us with some guidelines or does and don'ts for this matter?

Best regards, Roelof Jan
