Hi,

We have implemented this feature by hand, meaning that every dialog
which has been called upon new/edit calls respected dialog with
name appended with _userrole or _username ... of course you must define your dialog it in the config. Remeber that paragraph is still rendered using master paragraph config (default behaviour). You can obtian logged user role / username in a standard way, modifing new and edit can achive what you need. On the other hand, rendering such paragraph stays the old way... unless you want to play with includeTemplate... again using role or username...

Hope this gives you some clues.

Hi all,
I would like to have this feature in our website:

superusers can edit paragraph x using dialog-x-ADVANCED (if exist one)
and normal editors can edit paragraph x using dialog-x.

I never saw this feature in Magnolia so I would like to start developing
it, but I can not imaging where to start!

Extending green-bars taglib I think it is not a good idea, because we
would like to stay as much as possible compliant to Magnolia.

I don't see any configuration parameters to let me enable this.

The bean class of a paragraph definition is read at module startup, so I
can not work at "runtime", using user roles...

Any other idea?

Thanks in advance for every suggestion...
Matteo
