I think the best way is to fix it adding manually the "dummy" node in
order to let installation proceed and then remove that dummy nodes.
for posterity:
the "self-made" fix is to manually add contentNodes without children in
order to have this path for every site definition you have in STK:
A) <siteXYZ>/templates/prototype/mainArea/intro
B) <siteXYZ>/templates/prototype/extrasArea/paragraphs
C) <siteXYZ>/templates/prototype/navigation
