Hello,
I'm working on evaluating Magnolia for a few projects in our college. I
can get an entire Magnolia instance running pretty quickly but I am
encountering a show-stopper of a problem. If I stop my deployment and
restart it, not even a redeploy - then it is as if I need to reinstall
Magnolia all over again. Doesn't it remember that the core module and
others were installed the first time? For example, I tried to install
the STK after the initial deployment but it keeps reading ALL of the JAR
files as if they changed and it wants to do a fresh install each time.
What gives? Here is a sample from the debug log - you can see the update
message surrounded by stars. I didn't add any modules/JARs after a
stopping and starting the web app but it still thinks its time for an
install. This would be a great app if I can make it stick, lol.
I have only Magnolia admin instance deployed on Weblogic 11g (10.3.2)
right now, and backed with an Oracle database. The repository and
workspaces are stored in a location away from the deployment and I don't
seem to have any problems with persistence.
