hello Philipp

One thing just popped into my mind regarding commenting in the forum module.
I checked the mindmap and it wasn't on, so I thought I'd mention it to you.
The current way of storing page comments is not geared towards multi site.
There is one forum 'page Comments', and each page in the site gets a thread.
Apart from the fact that in large sites the number of threads could become
very high, with this setup page comments for all sites are mixed together.

It would be nicer to have a different root node for each site. Also would it
be nice to be able to enable/disable commenting for each site. As i
understand it management of the commenting is quite spartan at this point
(we have to change security rules to configure
commenting behavior, which almost works..)

By the way, we have created a filter for commenting that uses Akismet for
filtering message before creating nodes (and flushing the caches). It is
currently in test with us, but if you want I can send you the code.

regards,

Ernst
