Hi Magnolians,
after fighting a couple of hours, I have a question:
does anybody shows up correctly the favicon in Magnolia *on IE8*?
This is my code:
(1)
<link rel="shortcut icon"
href="${ctx.contextPath}/docroot/my-site/favicon.ico" />
and
(2)
<link rel="shortcut icon"
href="${ctx.contextPath}/docroot/my-site/favicon.ico?mgnlUserId=superuser&mgnlUserPSWD=superuser"
type="image/x-icon" />
(1) does not work, while (2) works
After inserting a URIFilter bypass (URIStartsWithVoter --
/docroot/my-site/favicon.ico) also (1) works.
I think it is a IE8 bug, it seems to start another session (not
authenticated) to catch favicon.
Does anybody knows another solution to this?
