Magnolia plans on using Vaadin for the new AdminCentral in Magnolia 5. I don't 
believe there are any plans to expose Vaadin to the process of creating 
websites. (Which doesn't say that it's impossible, it's just not the goal of 
the choice for a new UI framework.)
