I need to be able to modify the "demo-project-editor" role to ONLY allow such a user to create/edit/deactivate content on the site, but RESTRICT them from deleting anything at all.
Reading http://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/administration/security/accesscontrollists.html#Markingtheendofapath Access Control Lists article on Magnolia Documentation, I followed similar steps with no success. The example in the article above, clearly states the case to allow what I am trying to accomplish: Example: You have a page /news/sports and you want to grant sports editors the ability to edit that page, its properties and its subpages, but don't want them deleting the page. Create the following ACL rules in the Website controlled space: Has anyone experienced something similar? What is the best solution to this scenario? I only want Superuser or Site Admin to have the "Delete" privilege. No other users/roles should be able to "Delete" any part of the site. Appreciate your response and help. -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/Restrict-an-Editor-with-Delete-Privilege-tp29475801p29475801.html Sent from the Magnolia - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/home/community/mailing-lists.html To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ----------------------------------------------------------------
