Hi Harold, That would be pretty brilliant; replacing JCR in Magnolia would be no easy feat though - not impossible, minus a few quirks, but essentially, you'd probably have to wrap everything under the JCR api. Have you considered looking into plugging Jackrabbit (or another JCR repo) into such a db instead ? I seem to remember you've been working on custom PersistenceManagers before.. :)
