I'm doing something on form - pur modules and I can say: 1. Can be done by coding and extending the existing one (not only admin central). 2. Form module can help you with prepopulated fields but defaults can not be evaluated at runtime. They should be static (see selectField). 3. see selectField again (can be used as checkbox, but I didn't test it)
I'm not expert on these topics so, please, correct my sentences if they're wrong. I think form module is a powerful thing but there are some feature that should be added. Bye.
